Based on my experience, you could start with an advisor associate role or trainee advisor. All of it depends on your experience, since being a finanical adviser is not that easy, you need to know nearly everything, such as social security, tax issues, personal financial products etc.... and the most important is your interpersonal skill. As a starter, big companies could supply comparable training and opportunities.

Try the banks. Most banks have positions for advisors to help their customers. Keep in mind, that most people will also look into investing with the bank that keeps their checking and savings.
